After earning a double major at SMSC, Brady paved her own path and started working in the field of business.

“The transition out of college wasn’t easy for me,” Brady said. “It was hard getting into the swing of things and not having the flexibility you’re used to.”

Brady landed her first postgraduate job as an account manager for ISNetworld in Dallas. She worked there for three years, until an opportunity to work for LifeScience Logistics fell right in her lap. Shortly after getting married, Brady moved to Oklahoma City, where she is happily working from home.

“Originally, my plan was to work in sports communications,” Brady said. “I wasn’t expecting to work in business development at all, but I’m glad I am. It’s a great fit for me.”

Throughout Brady’s career, she has achieved many successes. Within her two jobs, she has accomplished closing several major sales accumulating mass profit and has received personal success through fostering client relationships.  “It brings me joy,” Brady said.

To Brady’s surprise, she was initially unprepared for the work field. She was not mentally equipped for the extensive work days and had to come to grips with her new adult life. Brady advises seniors to be realistic about their life after college.

“Be open-minded with what you want while also being intentional,” Brady said. “Look into any opportunity that comes your way because you never know what you might stumble upon.”

Throughout her Cowboy experience, Brady gained several memories in the Paul Miller Building.  “I will never forget Gina Noble being my favorite professor,” Brady said. “Noble’s Sports PR class, in particular, was my favorite. I loved finding out how PR can relate to sports while getting to see the day-to-day life of a PR professional in the sports world.”
