"Our students can do it all," said SMSC interim director Jared Johnson. "They learn how to write, edit, shoot video, report on camera and do everything a journalist should be able to do. They also win awards regionally and even nationally for their work. Then they get jobs that make a difference in society."
Multimedia Journalism students gain hands-on experience by writing for thte O'Colly newspaper, creating, producing and editing OState TV or Pete's Corner and participating in one of the 50+ student media radio shows and podcasts.
