Trammell works as a senior marketing strategist for VI Marketing and Branding. She concentrates on social marketing accounts and strategizes ways to change behavior toward concepts such as smoking and driving under the influence.

“I am passionate about helping Oklahoma become a healthier place to live,” Trammell said. “I am fortunate that I have the opportunity to ultimately help people in my career.”

Trammell began her career at OSU working in communications for Edmon Low Library and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

“My courses, professors and mentors at OSU made me well equipped for my career,” Trammell said. “Writing is one of the most applicable skills I have as a professional.”

Trammell values her relationships with multiple professors and strives to keep in contact.

“Getting to know your professors personally puts you ahead,” Trammell said. “My professors at OSU challenged me in a good way.”

While attending OSU, Trammell was involved with the Society of Professional Journalists and worked for The O’Colly. She recalls many fond memories and time spent in the Paul Miller  Building.

“My favorite Paul Miller memory was the camaraderie in the newsroom of The O’Colly,” Trammell said. “I loved working with others for a common purpose and the rush of getting projects done.”

Trammell serves as the awards chair for the Oklahoma City Chapter of Public Relations Society of America. She resides in Edmond with her husband and two children. She is active in her church and has season tickets for OSU football.
