Exciting News for Recent SMSC Alumni

Although graduation was a few weeks ago, it is wonderful to know that several OSU alumni have found good jobs.  Congratulations to everyone!

According to John Helsley, O'Colly Adviser, Ryan Novozinsky is the new New Jersey Devils beat writer for the Newark Star Ledger.  He added that this position rarely goes to a graduate just months out of college. Dean Ruhl will soon join the sports staff of the Tulsa World, in a hybrid role covering high schools and helping with OSU coverage on occasion.  In addition, Anna Pope joined Report for America at KUAF in Fayetteville as the Growth Impact Reporter.  Another recent graduate was Chris Becker, recently hired as the news editor for the Guthrie News Leader, covering Guthrie and Edmond.  Last but not least, Sudeep Tumma recently took a position at Princeton, doing PR and marketing there with Medical Essential Diagnostics.

John McGuire, SPM Faculty Member, added a another name to the list of OSU alumni who recently accepted positions:  Britt Harriman is now employed by the University of Utah's athletics department in creative services.

Best wishes to one and all as they start their new careers or as they continue to pursue jobs.
