Oklahoma State University has its own college alternative radio that is completely student-run.
Jack Hodgson, associate professor and KXZY adviser, said as many as 20 to 25 students participate in the production of KXZY broadcasts.
Hodgson said only about half of the student staff is from the School while the others are from different majors across campus.
“Students usually do a one to two hour show a week,” Hodgson said. “With some specialty shows.”
KXZY dues are $10 a semester.
