SMSC students Don Simmons and Hallie Hart wrote in The Oklahoma Publisher (http://www.okpress.com/Websites/okpress/files/Content/578422/August_2018_Oklahoma_publisher.pdf) about their summer newspaper internships.

Interested in a similar internship next summer?  At least 17 newspapers will receive Oklahoma Newspaper Foundation funding to host a paid intern in summer 2018.

Interns will work between 30 and 40 hours per week for at least seven to eight weeks.  The internship salary will increase in 2019 to $10.00 per hour for a maximum of $2,800 provided by ONF.

The deadline for applications will be February 15.  Start working on your published clips.  Don't wait!
